Hi I’m new here so this is my first post. I just gut my van after living in it for 2.5 yrs. I’m doin the floor right now. Here’s my idea and was gonna see wat y’all thought. :
I don’t want insulation cause I feel like it’s overkill I live on the west coast. I’m thinking of filling my gaps/ ridges on floor with wood strips or strips of insulation , getting it level then laying down those puzzle piece rubber floor squares straight over that. Skip the wood subfloor. Do you think this is doable. I figured the rubber squares will provide a tiny bit of insulating. And save space in a small van by skipping the plywood. Thanks!!!
