You can apply roof sealant to the topside of the translucent roof, but of course, it will not pass sunlight after the coating is applied. A thin coat of white roofseal will protect it for years, and will allow some light thru, but it will be much darker.

It is not translucent fiberglass but rather fiber glass that has been worn down by weather and exposure. The shiny outer whitecoat is gone and allowing light to slightly penetrate the remaining fibers board.

So excited!!! I bought her for way less than he wanted. Her name is Mathilda. There are mechanical issues beyond what he stated. I am gonna use my sweet work discount at my job to shirk the repairs onto someone else. If there is much more than an oil change or battery or something up top, it is gonna be an issue. This is not gonna be an easy engine to work on.

Will a direct glue to the ceiling with 3m77 provide stability or protection.
yes, Camie 373 is another prrfect for foams. Read the data sheets and google regarding surface prep, temperature ranges etc

Be careful to test on the ceiling material first just in case it reacts.

2-part closed cell foam for filling in gaps and corners if you want to be thorough. Be careful to always give it an inward "escape path", its expansion can be very forceful, as in buckling sheet metal.

No light should show through when you're done.
