Can I change connections and use as plug and play with solar generator. Dont ask....terrified of batteries. Can't find answer with the harbor freight but seems to be ok with other brands. ?

yes you can. You will just need to a set of ring terminals for the end that connects to the battery and have a friend or business crimp them on for you. Or you can by a set of wires that have the terminals already on them and get some help putting them on your battery.

Lots of folks are afraid of electrical stuff and propane but it is easy enough to get parts and help installing those parts to make it feel safer to hook things up.

I don't even know what you are asking. can you elaborate some more? what's a 100 watt Magnum? what does Harbor Freight have to do with it? you know a solar generator is just an over price battery and some flashy things.

note that I didn't say solar generators didn't work I just said they were over priced. they work for some people but they are still over priced.

You can change the electrical connectors that come with a solar panel. With some companies however, this will void any warranty that you had. I don't know what Harbor freight's policy is for things returned modified.
From what I gather the Harbor freight solar panels are of a type that is not very efficient. This just means the panel will be somewhat larger than a top brand panel.
