    Tutorial for adding in-line fuses

I’ve been looking on YT for a good tutorial on how to add in-line fuses on my solar set up. I’m sure it’s not hard but haven’t done it before so I need instruction. TIA!

    Thoughts on securing propane tank

I want to store my propane tank outside in my cargo basket. I am thinking about putting a piece of plywood in the bottom of the basket to make it more secure. But I’m still unsure about how to secure the propane tank to the basket. Any thoughts?

    Electric and propane inlets

I’ll be putting my battery box and propane tank on the cargo basket of my tongue. I’ve purchased 2 inlets for the wiring and the propane hose. I’m scared as hell to cut the openings for those inlets and now the trailer manufacturer is saying it’s best to go through the floor than the nose. I...

    I got my Weeroll!

I picked up my Weeroll about 3 weeks ago and towed it to my sister’s in NV where I’ve been working on the build. I started a thread with my build in the conversions forum. I will be hitting the road around mid-June.

    Weeroll Nomad Conversion

Hi everyone. Glad the forum is back up.  I picked up my Weeroll about 3 weeks ago, towed her from FL to NV, had her jump off the hitch in MO and now I’m busy with the build. Here are pictures thus far in the journey.  I can’t see how to add multiple photos so they will come one at a time.

    Almost Time

3.5 days of work left Trailer is awaiting the special order skin and should be finished in the next 3 weeks.  Picking up my Golden Retriever puppy, Sierra, on Saturday.  My apartment is almost empty and the items going with me are getting packed and organized.  My boss got me a Spot 3 GPS...

    Battery charger

Still trying to wrap my head around this so hoping I can get some simple answers. For the time being I won’t be getting solar. Not enough funds to go around. I will be getting a 200ah battery (probably Renogy but I’m not sure).  I will not be charging it when I drive. So I’ll need to charge from...

    Flap on 7 pin connector

The flap on my 7 pin connector is missing. I haven’t been able to determine if a replacement can be purchased and installed. Should I just get the whole thing replaced?

Patriot gas free generator & solar

Thoughts on this? The price is obviously outrageous but is there a similar system that's easy to set up like this one but less expensive?

    DMV cracking down on residency

My plan was to establish residency in NV using my sister's address as my permanent address and JB Mailroom as my mailing address so my sister doesn't have to contend with my mail.  When I talked to Marianne at JB Mailroom, she said that the DMV will no longer allow her customers to use her...

    Temporary/movement tags

At the end of April I'll be leaving Maryland and heading to Florida to pick up my trailer.  Once I have my trailer, I'll be traveling to Nevada where I will be setting up residency and building out the trailer.   My question is whether I will need a temporary or movement tag on the trailer. ...

    Route planning & Passport America

I'll be picking up my trailer in Florida and then heading to Carson Valley, NV to my sister's where I will spend a few weeks getting my new home all set up.  This will happen the last week of April if all goes as planned. I'm trying to decide my route.  I think I want to do a bare minimum set...

    Mail forwarding near Reno

I have a sort of unusual situation regarding obtaining residence and mail forwarding.  I am able to use my sister's address for purposes of obtaining my driver's license and vehicle registration.  However, she would prefer not to have the responsibility of forwarding my mail to me.  I'm guessing...

    Booster seat/restraint as dog grows

I'm getting a Golden Retriever puppy next month, about 4 weeks before I hit the road. I plan on taking her with me in the truck everywhere I go during that first month so she can get used to it. I am researching good seating for her in the passenger seat which can be changed as she grows. To see...

And then I changed my mind!

I was finalizing my purchase for a cargo trailer from GA and then I say and chewed it over all weekend...and decided the Weeroll is a far superior product. Deposit made and now I can move forward...FINALLY!!!  I will share pictures and start a build thread. This will be a smaller footprint but...

    I did it!

I know many of you thought the day would never come, but I finally pulled the trigger!  Today I ordered my 7x12 cargo trailer. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight.  :D

    Inverter choice

I'm considering this inverter. I don't have a lot of power needs: 12v fridge, laptop, phone, 12v Endless Breeze fan, recharging dremel which I use for crafting, Hot Logic mini. Anyone have experience with it?  1000W Car Power Inverter DC 12V to AC 110V Converter with 2 Cigarette Lighter Sockets...

Ordering CT in next 7 days! What would you do different?

It seems like I've been in the forums forever what with being sidelined a year with my shoulder injury.  But the time has come!  I'm two months away from retirement and the salesman said to give them 12 weeks to order and customize the trailer.  So I have to sit down and do some hard thinking...

Weight distribution in cargo trailer build

It's getting closer - I will be ordering my cargo trailer in the next 3 weeks and I have to figure out placement of windows and outlets which also necessitates figuring out (tentatively) how I'm going to build it out.  I think I recall seeing something about 10% of the total weight being at the...
