My van looked like a major skin cancer when I got it. Peeling gray paint and surface rust. It's now painted with white Behr reflective roof paint which I rolled on. The temp difference is amazing. The paint job is good from afar but far from good.
Haven't logged any miles to speak of either way. I knew about the tippy issue and saw how far in my rear tires were so I spent the money. If nothing else the rear tires look more like I think they should.
I can't answer your question but-
For your vehicle I would recommend a can of the wasp and hornet spray that shoots 20 feet. Not considered a weapon but I imagine a face shot of that stuff would slow a person down.
