Some of us have by now heard about the "Vagas Nerve" which is a covering of the stomach and intestines that connects thru the spine to the brain. That old saying, "you are what you eat" bodes well for this neural process. If we eat well (nutrition wise) we feel well and may have a more positive mental outlook.

The vagus nerve acts as an information superhighway to the brain, delivering information that helps control digestion, heart rate, mood and even the body's inflammation response.
The foods in our diets play a significant role in this. Those living on burgers and diet soda may suffer numerous symptoms in their mood. Thus a healthy well balanced diet is important no matter how you live. (whether in the stick's & bricks or nomading)

Below is a small article with many links to more information about this. Originally published in "Outside" in 2018 it may be worth one's time to give it a read....see what you think....and discuss it some in this thread.

You may not care for leafy green vegetables, but they can play a big role in how you feel. As kids we may have bulked at eating them but by seasoning them with flavored vinegar(s)
they may have been easier to consume.
