Wondering about Westfalia

I used to have a mid-80's vanagon. It always treated me real good. As a result of that I had a real problem not running out and buying one when I decided to live in a van while I was on the road. Ultimately what deterred me was the price they were commanding for a twenty-thirty year old camper!
I wasn't willing to fork out that kind of money for a lifestyle that might work out for me and might not. Besides, I've never been a fan of laying out extra cash just for an idea such as the Westy van represents. That said, I still have a fondness for them because of the one I had that was so good to me.
I've actually been reconsidering my position as of late.
