Hello all,

Haven't posted since my intro post last fall.
My travel plans got sidetracked with my father dying.
But I did finally head south in early January and am now on the beach west of Galveston Texas. Ice storm here the other day!
Will spend some time on Padre Island and then head west, or possibly south to Mexico.

Peter - I am so sorry to hear about your dad
What part of Mexico are you thinking of heading towards - and do you sit tight in one place for awhile, or do you just mosey thru after a few days?

Hello Miss Wolfe,
Thank you for the kind thoughts about Dad, Great man.
If we go it'll be down the Gulf Coast, but it's looking less likely.
I just set up on San Padre Island, awesome spot, $30 a year to camp, no hookups but water and dump nearby.
I'm right on the beach, love it.
Corpus Christie 20 min away.
Will probably be here a few weeks, have some major refit plans for the coach.
Then probably west and up the 1 to Vancouver.

Thank you for the info about San Padre - sounds like you all are in a great spot to chill out, make repairs/modifications and a place for 30 bucks - woo hoo!

And then to Vancouver....a place on my 'to do' list, lol.

Your blog is great, pictures and all. Love your dog, what a cutie.
