This is the closest boat , I got a closeup , all metal traps these days , the old wooden ones don't last as long and are high maintenance and COST more !
(they tossed a bucket of old bait over the side before leaving , wish I could include the smell with this post !)
There was a Gull swarm soon after the wind blew the fish to shore , (they're too lazy to fight over food that's still floating unless it's out in the bay !)

(cribstones are huge rectangular slabs on native granite , stacked up to make the bridge so the tide isn't restricted flowing through to reduce fast currents) WAY OLD !
