I like Walmart, for letting me camp in their parking lot, and McDonalds for giving me free internet and "senior coffee" for .75, with unlimited refills. Because of this I like to support both these companies.

Are there other companies that support our lifestyle?

I have read here and elsewhere of Cracker Barrel restaurants often allowing RV/vanners to overnight. Don't know if they offer Wifi?
Burger King and Starbucks have free Wifi.
Do the big truckstops offer free Wifi? That would be quite nice when travelling.

Amazon fulfillment center for jobs and shipping anything everywhere.

I would include the concessionaires that run the National Forest campgrounds. They hire lots of RVers and even vandwellers.

Cracker Barrel is famous for it's support of RVers.

The truck stops don't give free wifi but it would be fair to say that many of us use them all the time for many other things.

Yes to Cracker Barrel. We've always been able to stay unless the lot is very small. Most have long RV spots in the rear. Sometimes there's early wake up from the garbage truck. No free WiFi.

Truck stops - never found free WiFi. Flying J is the most RV friendly with long RV spots. We don't like to park in with the trucks and take a trucker's space especially since we're short.

Cabelas - most have long RV spaces and allow overnighting. Sometimes free WiFi, dump station and water.

Home Depot and Lowes - no overnight RV parking policy as far as I know but we've stayed many times. Very fast free WiFi at both

Casinos - almost all casinos allow overnight parking. Often free WiFi. But you might not want to support them. :-D

Harvest Hosts - I like to patronize these places. Most are small family businesses. Most offer a free stay but you should buy something and there is a fee to join the program.

Moose and Elks lodges - free or small fee for dry camping. It's a little hard to find information on which ones have room and you must join a lodge.

Besides Walmart try Target and Kmart. Walmart or Sams Club is our first choice though because of their stated policy.

I don't know if they are supportive or just don't notice, but 24 hr restaurants like Denny's and Shari's have been great places to park overnight in my cargo van. I don't see RVs parking there overnight though. Same with 24 hr fitness centers.

In most cases, are these same places ok with vehicles being there overnight?

Some stores do not own the parking lot. For liability. You might get away with overnight once.

pilot has let me park for over a year for most of the day/evening. i pay 20 for wifi/mnth
