With all of the current flooding I'm seeing in Louisiana and nearby areas on tv, there should soon be a bunch of flood damaged vehicles being dumped on the used car markets in the near future.  Possibly in geographic areas far away from where the flooding is occurring.

A quick Google search on "Flood Damaged Vehicles"  will give you lots and lots of info on this subject.  Be extra careful, especially if a deal seems a little too good to be true.

Honks me off to no end. Nice looking vehicle, priced just "Slightly" less than KBB (By $800-$1K) and then looking you find it's a SALVAGE vehicle and not even worth 25% of the price they want!
