VERY Newbie Vanlife need some help.

Hello I'm tom 60 yr old, very new to vanlife, 2002 chevy express maroon, white racks on top for solar, I'm here in Tyson wash, hoping to find someone to camp with, i sure can use a friend now and sure could use some help with getting use to my new way of life. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Tom. P.S. Not to good with this forum or social stuff, technical stuff either.
