Vehicle Registration / Mail forwarding

In between permanent addresses, a job in one state i am able to do remotely and staying with family in another. I jus bought a New Van in Colorado a month ago and just now received the title from the dealer. I'm thinking of registering it in either South Dakota or Montana through an LLC.

Any experiences/ recommendations on registering in either South Dakota or Montana?
