I'm curious if any of our members are doing the rubber tramp thing on other continents.

Had the crazy idea the other day to try out a Euro-tour vanlife style, wondering who else has done it? I would LOVE to hear the good, the bad, and the bizarre!

I've been thinking about a Euro van life for a while and found a resource: http://www.dutchcampervans.com/. This is the website of a Netherlands company that sells used campervans. They will help with registration, insurance, and reselling the van once your travels are over.

When I had a friend in Hawaii I felt it would be sooo easy to fly over, buy a van and tour around for a year or so. Now that my friend is back in Florida, not so easy. My understanding is that car/van camping is discouraged in the islands. Anyone with experience?

Thanks Mascha, I'll definitely check that out!
