USB option on inverter

Is using the USB option for devices like a tablet more efficient than the house plug or does it not matter?

Probably makes little difference. &nbsp;The &nbsp;plug in USB might not last as long on MSW.<br><br>But better off not using the inverter for such a task.<br><br>I have one of these installed:<br><a href="http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Sea-Dual-Charger-Socket/dp/B0082CXEI8" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Sea-Dual-Charger-Socket/dp/B0082CXEI8<br><br></a>But you can get the ones which plug into a ciggy plug receptacle and can still charge an I pad at 2 amps.
