I emptied the little bottles I used to carry and filled them with Dr. Bronners and I can usually find a place to wash me mitts. Of course when Katies around I dry them off on her back when we are hugging....<img src="https://vanlivingforum.com/images/boards/smilies/eek.gif" align="absmiddle" border="0"> Just sayin'<br>bri<br><br>

I agree with toliet paper...can be buried....burned...flushed.....&nbsp;and then a good soap and water hand wash after.<br><br>My post about the bidet is similar to the sprayer.....we had one in a sticks and bricks.....didn't like it.....but efficient.Came with the house.<br><br>As far as the dryer blowing gentle warm air.....I would be cautious about getting my parts close to that.....one day it could possibly short and being close to H2O there could be a problem.<br><br>Never used a corn cob......butt there has been times that newspaper and magazines were the only available thing......so ya gotta do what you got to do when you doo...doo.<br>

The very best for me was the toilets in Narita Airport in Tokyo. They had a series of buttons and switches....you sat, off-loaded and then hit the warm water spray button and the little wand came out from the side of the bowl and hosed you off . Another button and gentle warm air dried your area.... awesome.....<br><br>Bri

Your idea is good for sustainability if you live in a home but idk for the road. Whatever works for you is what you should do. But if you ever change your mind about your approach, and you are adamant about not flushing toilet paper, just throw the tp in the garbage can and toss that away daily. You can pick up a 6 pack of TP from Dollar Tree's for $1.&nbsp;

I've been using the wet wipe things that come in the big bag for about a year. Work well and compact. And as far as I can figure its as cheap as tp.

btw, for the person who only has hot water, you can save a lot of money by turning your water heater down to the temp you prefer to shower with. Then its comfortable to wash hands with as well. I had a dishwasher that would heat the water though so I could have sterilized dishes.

Sometimes, I've even had to use kleenex or a paper towel when I've run outta TP.. no problems there. Of course, the paper towel doesn't caress my hairy hiney like pillowy soft&nbsp; TP, but sometimes sacrifices have to be made for expedience.

Lonfu they do the same thing to me, at least until I figure out to rinse them first. &nbsp;I use one wet wipe to clean with after a bm. &nbsp;Wipe, fold, wipe, fold until squeaky clean. &nbsp;I keep a grocery bag next to the toilet to throw the wet wipes into and put it in the trash once a week.<br><br>I keep a peri bottle&nbsp;<a href="http://www.amazon.com/Lavette-Bottl...369423185&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=peri+bottle" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.amazon.com/Lavette-Bottl...369423185&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=peri+bottle</a>&nbsp; next to the toilet. &nbsp;After I pee, I lean forward, give a quick couple of ounces of water rinse and I'm cleaner than using toilet paper. &nbsp;I'm not too concerned about patting dry, though a little shake removes a lot....it's just water.<br><br>I mostly use toilet paper to blow my nose on. &nbsp;A roll lasts me a very long time.

A friend of mine could not read. (eye problems from youth) He used baby wipes to refresh while at work. Once he sent his niece to buy wipes. She brought ones made by Clorox. My friend had major skin injuries.<br><br>My self, I use TP and baby wipes, hypoallergenic. When on Amtrak or public rooms, I bring antibacterial "Wet Ones" to clean up before using the area.
