The price is way out of line.  In Excellent conditon, Kelly Blue Book has this at $4900.  It is, btw, only a half ton.  Got the VIN # from the Carfax photo he posted, here's the details on it:

Not if you're solo and at least semi-minimalist.  A couple, with too much junk might overload it it and would probably be better off with a 3/4 ton.  IMNPHO.

5.3L is a good engine. I have it in my 2003 Yukon...no issues at all, very solid, and I'm almost at 190K miles.
