Designed for flash photography. Uses it's own wee internal battery - so limited output duration. So limited versatility, but someone might find it useful.....

Yup, but some people only need something small. Would be good for small electronics (also has the usb output) or extending laptop run time 2-3x. If I hadn't already picked up my bigass 1000W inverter I'd seriously consider getting one. Cool Tools has more info w. some informative commentary. ..Willy.
