I've been keeping away from this thread for lack of data and know I'd want to check all the links out.
Looks like some interesting stuff I need to hear!
I'll try to download a bunch next time I get free wifi.

Celtic Woman - Amazing Grace

Well, here is a german song by Tomte with "Der letzte grosse Wal" (the last great whale)

[video=youtube]

The White Stripes with "Hardest Button to Button". This is more about the video. Michel Gondry just makes very interesting music videos... maybe I like it because I used to play the drums.

Those from the PNW should remember this 'alt-folk' group.

One more from Bonzai, for the ladies....
40 years gone by and the last line is still 'current events'!   :(

That song is so soothing.
Fagan's first album was what I listened to on the drive home after a show to decompress (it was the first one that was produced digital from start to finish) especially when I was in the metal band.

Steely Dan was always a fave of mine.
In one band we used to play a My Old School and Peg tribute medley in one of our sets . I preferred them with Jeff Baxter and Dias on GTR and Becker on bass.

Can't post YT links right now.......so DIY.
I found a great vid of them on Letterman with Skunk and Joe Walsh trading solos.

i'm pretty sure Baxter played in every significant band of the 70's,highly prolific artist
