For those who like to listen to podcasts and/or people who miss old-fashioned radio plays:

Here is a modern attempt at an old-timey radio play. It is a science fiction story, done in the style of War of the Worlds. It ain't the best story in the world, but it is interesting. And I gotta hand it to them for trying to bring back an old genre of entertainment.

Have a listen. It is only 8 short episodes.

For those who would like more or different entertainment from just watching TV or surfing the web, podcasts is a good option for vandwellers. You can download lots of podcasts while you are connected to WiFi and then listen to them later using very little power. Most are audio only but some are text or video.

If you have an Android-based phone or tablet, I highly recommend an app called BeyondPod. You can set it to only download while on WiFi and on a charger. You can search through a giant library of podcasts or enter the feed address of any other podcast. Lots of popular NPR shows are available, as are shows about RV life.

Who knows. They may have retroactively turned it into a podcast. If you can remember the name, maybe we can look it up.

remember the 90's? me? yea right, couldnt find it but if you google "radio drama's" good things come up

I used to listen to a late show in Portland called "Laugh Until Your Knob Falls Off", back in the seventies. A mix of original humor, comedian clips, and funny songs. My favorite.
I'm going to check out these podcasts. Sounds interesting

It's called Coast to Coast AM hosted by George Norrey

I listen to podcasts all day at work.

it keeps the brain in learning mode, and is a great break from listening to the radio all day. (I can't stomach advertising on the radio)

I love listening to TED talks and 60 Minutes.
