Ad came out on Craigslist yesterday and today I scurried down and picked up this Waeco CF-50 for the equivalent of $220 USD. Just goes to show that patience pays off when it comes to Craigslist. ..Willy. DSCF6149.JPGDSCF6148.JPG

Best thing the person already cut the Ciggy plug off, i got one cheap for that reason those plugs last only so long, thats a great deal Willy

It's the same version of the CF-50 that I bough (used) over a decade ago, except I got this one for abt $37 USD cheaper. The 12v plug on my first one caused me no end of grief and I ended up chopping it off and hardwiring it. About a month ago I picked a bunch of waterproof 2 pole connectors from Amazon (slo boat from China) which I'll use on the power cord so I can stick a ciggy plug on if I want.

One other thing I'm gonna get off my lazy ass and do is to mount my fuse box. Got it from under the hood of a trashed F-250 and it's been kicking around for a couple of years. ..Willy.

Debit how do you know Willy spent hours waiting for this deal. maybe he was just cruising Craigs list and this popped up. happens all the time. I cruise Craigs list every once in a while myself and have gotten some killer deals. don't assume!!!! highdesertranger

Yup, I don't spend much time on Craigslist (3-4 times a day when I'm actively looking), but there are a few things I'm on the lookout for and it only takes a few seconds to type in a search term and scan the results. I do check every day tho, if I need something, since many of the really good deals are rather ephemeral. ..Willy. *as an addendum, a new CF-50 here would set me back well over $1000 CDN vs. the $300 I bought it for so, I figure, $700+ is well worth the small amount of time/effort.
