This morning I was splitting fire wood with my hydraulic wood splitter from a three foot diameter tree that I had cut last week.

I had the splitter in it's up right position and I would jockey the the humongous piece of wood into position and try to hold it there while the love of my life, (my wife) would pull the handle of the splitter . Since the splitter was at a slight angle, I had to try and hold each piece up a bit of the ground until the blade of the splitter got slightly imbedded in it. On one particular piece just as I was giving out holding it, it slipped and at the exact same time as I said " Oh s--t" my wife said "heavens"

My wife usually lets me do my own thing on the log splitter. On 3' thick chunks, I load them into our front end loader 3 at a time, and elevate just above the splitting bed, and roll one into place, and then the next.

We work well together, and usually my language is rougher than hers.
