Good. Thats exactly what they should do. If therea any open spots...should be accesses by them. Great usage imo

I wonder how this will work out in practice....

Who's gonna provide food and other supplies?

What about the very limited restroom facilities?

Will there be law enforcement of any kind?

What about people arriving with no vehicle? Where will they sleep?

Some of those parks this time of year have a huge problem with mosquitos.

Hmmm....

I see it as they were offered a place to go to. Not so much a FEMA situation where they provide everything. It beats walking around in the streets. Perhaps other campers may or may not help out any who show up.

Knowing what most campers are like I'm going with they will help !

You make a good point.

I just made a bunch of reservations in TX state parks. I hope I don't get booted out. I'm glad they are opening them up to evacuees. I'd be happy to share a site since I only have a truck/topper setup.

Hurricane Harvey really "messed with Texas" ... but we will survive!

Let's just hope Irma goes somewhere else ...

Maybe next time, they will open the parks for people evacuating BEFORE the disaster strikes.
