My family and I have been attending Lutherhaven camps for the last seven years. They host basic Christian camps (and when I say basic, I mean the focus is on God's LOVE. This is not "turn or burn" type Christianity. It is service-oriented, love-oriented, student outdoor education and creation-care work.) They host a special needs camp, canoe camp, treehouse camp, horse camp, preschool and family camp for all ages, senior and adult craft, paint & sip, & float weekends... there is ALWAYS something amazing going on at Lutherhaven! The architecture is beyond amazing and something to see. The music is great. The food is great. Situated on beautiful Lake Couer d'Alene, in northern Idaho, near Spokane, WA. Limited internet. They are asking 3-5 hours a day of volunteer work.
Start planning for your next summer. I know as soon as my own summer is wrapped up... well...let's be honest...MID-adventure, I am already pondering my next step!
