We've been sitting in N.M for 7 days due to high wind and snow.I think I started home too soon.On another note,we picked up a pooch from the Yuma Humane Soc. back in Dec.It was hilarious watching her re-action to all the white stuff.

Oh! I can definitely relate, Bob! I've left for the northeast too early more times than once.If it's any consolation everyone in AZ is being blown to bits, too.

I'm glad your new friend is there to amuse you!

Amen!  I had to leave my BLM boondocking site because the dirt road may have become impassable [or, at the least, very muddy].  I know SoCal needs the rain so I won't begrudge them even a drop.

Well,we made it to Amarillo and now we are sitting here waiting out the rain. The weather is supposed to clear on Thursday morning. If so,we'll be off like a prom dress.

I remember travelling from TX to NM and the wicked wind. I had the crap scared out of me when a tumble weed came across my travel lane and I hit it after slamming the brakes on. It was the firt tumble weed I ever saw and at night it looked like a loping animal.
