And I sweat hooking up two batteries... Everything is relative I guess. He did a nice job.

That's cool. I like his philosophy of slow down and take everything in. The 50 mile range on one charge is limiting but he mentioned he is going to switch the lead acid batteries out for lithium ion's eventually for more range. I like how he mentions it can pretty much power anything needed while parked. That is great in a grid down situation. Overall a nice project. Wonder how many $$$$ it cost him to build so far?

There are also EV charge points, sparse but everywhere, if you weren't too dogmatic about "solar only"

Ok so where did Debit go? Lots better than busting up 1000 pounds of wood daily. ;)

A bit pricy, the seats were 4 grand I think he said. Still it's a neat build.

Interested to see how long his batteries last at 80% DOD and slow recharge.

With a half-ton of batteries there can't be a lot more GVWR for anything else.

I thought about that too.
A couple of really nice flexsteel Moho seats could be had for WAY less especially at a recycler !
