I was given this idea by a friend that works as a carny. He has a van he uses to get from show to show. He has 2 hooks on each side of his van/panel truck. And he sleeps in a hammock. He says the van doesnt rock when he turns over in his sleep. And he can use the hooks for trash bags or laundry bags. Leave them in place and hang his hammock each night. Then take it down when he is up. - Polecat77
It's a good plan. I had talked to someone who tried that, but they were pretty sore the next morning. Still, it must save a ton of space!

Has anyone ever tried rigging up the sling part of a cot to fold down to sleep and fold up to wake? This came to me while browsing through a Sportsmens Warehouse.

I wondered about the hammock idea and wondered if it was viable. There are a whole bunch of people who use those things when camping but I've never tried to sleep in one. Worth a shot I suppose. If anyone has photos, please post them. I'd love to see!
