Hi all,

I just bought a new car recently with 15k Mileage. I want to start part time and small with overnighters and weekend trips. I recently took a trip to KY and camped for a whole week so I have plenty of supplies. My question to you is what kinds of things do you do for a small car for sleeping( I don't want to take the seats out yet)

Thank you in advance

I part time in a Kia Soul. While it's not exactly the same, the size at least, is comparable.

Here's a link to my build thread, where I've documented the entire build process for my road tripper. Five years in, the build is still a work in progress. I make improvements here and there as time and money permit.

You need a bed that is flat, long, and wide enough to be comfortable for you.  You'll need window shades for all windows if you camp in the city or busy campgrounds.  Keep your vehicle maintained and legal.  That's it.
I part time in a Chevy Volt.  Electric cars make great camping rigs.

2016 Chevy Sonic here!
I used the 60% portion of the backseat. Put backseat down, build a platform in trunk that meets the lowered seatback height. Voila! Feet in trunk, head in car. Need a good mattress too.

This sounds nice. I wonder if I can do the same with our Honda Prelude.
