I recently gutted my class b and see that my kitchen sink, toilet, and shower all drain into one tank. Is this normal? I'm wondering if its safe or hygienic to build my new system the same way. Do I just need a P trap on my sink? I won't have a shower in the rig so that's a non issue.

Ok awesome good to know it is normal. I was worried about smells and any pathogens coming up through the sink. I think I’ll just install a P trap on the sink and a valve on the floor similar to the one on my black tank I can slide open only when the sink is in use to avoid any issues.

My 1983 class A Barth is that way and I like it as when I have a sewer hook up I can leave the tank gate valve open and the tank stays clean as shower and sink water washes out everything every day. Nothing but what goes through my body goes down the toiet though which helps.
