This is Boone 10 years old, rescued 7.5 years ago.

Someone dumped this pup out here roughly mid-Dec. Guess who has a new dog ?

The vet said she's 9-10 mo. She had NO training, xcept potty outside. She's a smart dog & is learning leash/commands quickly. Just takes a lil tincture of time/patience.

All my dogs are foundlings - some ppl get on my last nerve.

My pet hyena is named Muffin:

I love that pic because it's so weird. She normally looks like a dog:

Alum of the El Paso Humane Society shelter where I was volunteering. Their best guess was boxer+pibble.

Likes: cow bones, heated mattress pad, sitting in the drivers seat, eating anything I leave on the counter (R.I.P. multiple sticks of butter), walkies
Dislikes: bordatella vaccine in the nose, cows, fireworks/gunshots, raindrops, the noise cattle guards make when driving over them

Two years ago we were down in South Baja at Playa Juncalito when we saw these pups.


So we gave them some food…..



and fresh water…

then they hopped in our van for a lifetime of adventure!



Fourteen states and two years later, they are the best van pups!

here’s the girls Aurora (white) & Kala.
And Sampson is the bird. 5 yrs living in the van together. 3.5 yrs stealth in CA & 1.5 yrs nomadic. In Quartzsite/Yuma now.

According to Wisdom Panel, she's Chihuahua, MinPin, Poodle, and Pomeranian.

Obviously she isn't the whole Famdamily any more. I thought I didn't like dogs until I met her...
