shared ground for seperate batteries?

I think this is safe, but I want to make sure I won't be causing any damage. Is it ok to hook up my house battery to common ground? Coach and House will have separate paths for each positive side of their respective circuits.

Yes, all will ground to the chassis of the vehicle.

It's my understanding they only chassis ground because wire costs money. Anyway, I didn't ground my solar setup but on something like an RV you would need to chassis ground the coach battery.
