I know some people are uncomfortable sharing their picture, but it would be nice putting a face to a name. So, if you'd like, here's a spot.

paddling man, if you put some batten boards on the outside of that building it might be a little warmer, looks like snow on the other side of that wall...

Big - You know it, brother! That is at a friends house. They've got a great place with some acreage and built this kinda half-shed next to a firepit. About 15 of us got together for a day of a big fire, cooking chili, shooting guns and shooting the crap.

There was nearly a foot of fresh snow that day with highs in the low twenties.
@meg

Four days ago, DW's mother passed away, so we understand what you're going through. There is a time for everyone, however, to move on to what comes next. It is a relief for them, though painful for those who remain behind.

They know no more pain or suffering.

I just took this pic from the camera on the netbook...

From left to right... Carbon Monoxide detector, Midland weather radio, Mom's picture (deceased but always with me)... Of course, the "Live Long and Prosper" has to be in the Trekker Van. Below that you see the green cactus and red chili pepper lights.

Shouldn't that be 'Trekkie' then?

I have never understood the female capacity to avoid a direct answer to any question.

Trekker or Trekkie... Both terms are acceptable to most die hard Star Trek fans but in general Trekker is thought of as more serious...

Really............................?

I always thought the Trekkers were the Johnny-Come-Latelies who weren't even weaned when the original series was airing.

Trekkers more serious? You're liable to step on some toes....

*grin*

As a kid I owned "The Making of Star Trek" and "Mission to Horatius" both circa 1967. The first had all the specs of the Enterprise, drawings, photos and a couple of stories I may have been a bit young to read at the the time.

It's where I learned definitively that moss does NOT grow beneath a woman's breasts.

I was 11 at the time.

LOL Dragonfly... I resemble the chaotic thinking, too.

Then again, it's not so much chaotic thinking - I'm more of a space cadet...

One side effect of sleeping outside, camping all the time, and living in the moment is that it's becoming increasingly difficult to let things like corporate profits, credit card signups, and sales goals concern me. Looks like there's a career waiting for in the "occupy" movement.

Have an enjoyable day!
