Second chance van

My wife and I drove to Grants, NM yesterday to score second hand windows, hatch doors, fresh
Water tanks, power converter from dismantled class C motor home.
   The owner just gave all that to use for free.
That is going to go a long ways on ( second chance supply’s) on my second chance van.
I have the Rainbo bread truck 14 foot box step van. On ford frame 300 ci six cyc engine
Four speed manual trans .
 I don’t know how well it will run.but they used it every day. 113,000 miles. No power steering or power breaks
  Please give me feedback on your thoughts

Nice score on the parts.

Manual brakes, yikes. I wonder how hard that would be to add. On a GM it's a piece of cake. what year? Front drums or discs

We need photos! Yes, old GM brakes are very easy to work on and/or modify. I usually always upgrade to discs once the old drums give out. Well worth it to have more modern safer brakes.
