roof top a/c

OK I have been searching for a roof top A/C unit for Moby, and at a truck stop was a "scamp" with a extremely low profile unit, they where gone when I got out of the stop, anybody have any insight they can share?

Scamp uses the <a href="http://www.adventurerv.net/coleman-polar-cub-roof-air-conditioner-top-unit-p-1343.html">Coleman Polar Cub</a> air conditioner.&nbsp; They are pricey!

I use a small window unit vented to the outside $83.00 new on sale from the Home Dept. I have never heard anything bad about roof air units although Winnebago Salvage forest city Iowa has alot of items on ebaY.

I too use a window unit that I was using in my house. It cools the RV fine, just have to carry a shelf to set it on so it can stick out the window. Cheaper to run that the RV conditioner.

I use a small 6K BTU home a/c mounted permanenthy in the rear wall of canper.&nbsp; Works good.
