I'm on the Washington coast this month, various towns. Next month I head to Salem, Oregon to empty out my little storage unit, renew my license, spend some time with friends and family, and check out Silver Falls Park a few more times (love that place!).
November, I start drifting down the coastline and should reach San Diego by Xmas. RTR in January (Really looking forward to that again!), Vegas afterward, then San Diego (and Tijuana a little) for a couple months. Probably another two months up the coast until I arrive back in Salem, to go back to work for a few months.
My plans are flexible but at least I have a framework. This is a good way to live!

Ah ... yes, and I miss sharing a camp with you too Bob!  I'm sure looking forward to being with my tribe again.  And, no worries about washing the rug ... tho', for the life of me, I can't remember a rug I left behind.

I've drug that rug all over tarnation and over thousands of miles--and you don't even remember it??????!!!!!!!!

I'm going to have to charge you a storage fee! :p

We are planning to head to Quartzsite shortly after Jan 1. A lot of things need to be arranged to make it happen, but we are arranging.

I'm currently camped just west of Flagstaff. Headed down to the desert just as soon as the temps drop.
I'll be roaming around the Quartzite/Ehrenberg/Parker/Lake Havasu areas
throughout the winter. RTR is on my list! Looking forward to meeting some fellow travellers!

psytechguy, I'm also just west of Flagstaff off A-1 Mountain road. There are actually quite a few of us in the area.

hey Bindi heads up on that San Diego interstate 10 drive. It is relentles going uphill. From sealevel to high desert, although loaded last time i took that road i was down to 30 MPH even in the 7.3 diesel, take your time and try to drive more at night.

Milling about smartly in NH (nice state!) while the VA decides when my hand surgery will take place. Hoping to head south by Halloween. Florida for Christmas and New Years, but would love to meet up again for RTR.

I am currently in Grafton, ND for the sugar beet harvest. I will be heading to Ehrenberg directly after that. Thinking of going straight down to Oklahoma City then over across the pan handle to the beautiful desert. Can't wait to meet all of you lovelies in person!

I'm heading out in less than 2 weeks to spend 1 1/2 weeks in the wilderness chasing Wapiti and getting my batteries refreshed - my wife says it's expensive meat, but cheap therapy for me. Then I will probably go spend a couple weeks or so in Kansas helping the harvest crew my oldest son is on finish up the season. After that, I'll be around home for a couple months, probably should do some paying work during that time ;) Then My son Ben and I plan to head out of the cold bound for Q and RTR. Hopefully I can spend the whole time this year, then go to CA to visit family. We're bringing our motorcycles as My son plans to head out on an epic adventure after that - he plans to head south until he runs out of money, dirt bagging his way through Mexico, central and south America, and if he can figure a way to earn money on the road when he gets to Terra Del Fuego, he plans to ship to Africa and continue around the world. He's 23, with no bills, no girl friend, and there will be no better time in his life to do this. I hope to ride for a week with him into Baja, helping him ease into the travel mode, and see some sights I haven't seen in years. Then it's back to CO in time to start a major project.

Oh yeah, and sometime after I return and before I start the new house build for a client, my wife and I may have an opportunity to go to Costa Rica to celebrate our 30th anniversary. It's shaping up to be a busy Fall through Spring!

Congrats on the 30 years.
Quite the adventure for a youngster and a wonderful education. I wish him all the best.
Be sure to keep us updated on his progress and share his blog if he does one.

See ya at Q :)

Feeling the pull of the road. Will leave Oregon when the garden harvest is done and the storms start rolling in off the pacific. When the high is 40 degrees and overcast for weeks. Some time in November I will head south  in an experiment. A 1991 previa. I really intended to spend the summer fixing up the dodge van but didn't get much done. Sadly I lost my dog to cancer a few weeks ago. I am

Arrived in Quartzsite yesterday. Will most likely spend the week here and move over to Eherenburg for a while after that.
Not much going on here yet and very few campers, so its kinda nice.

Looking forward to seeing all who are headed this way.

Sadly- I honestly do not believe we can make RTR :(
Really Want to, but stupid life gets in the way...

One signature away from leaving Ohio and heading to TorC then Quartzsite for Thanksgiving, or sooner. Think I'm hitting 50 off 275 in Cinci to 54 out of Cinci to 380 Still not sure. I don't want to take I70 or any big roads. I've never made this trip alone before.

Mr. Pico and I have been living in a Beautiful place just East of Winslow, Arizona for the past month.  So beautiful I am including a photo of the view from my side door.  We will he heading to Ehrenberg the first week in November....after a little sight seeing along the route, we are going to Gallup and then up to Cortez for a short visit and then head South.  Should arrive in Ehrenberg about the 8th of November....it will be good to be back in the Great Desert.

The plan is to give a months notice at the job around Nov. 20th. I've been there eight years in good standing and don't want to burn any bridges.

I plan on hitting the road around Dec. 20th towards Quartzsite...from Wisconsin for the RTR, planning on heading through Iowa > Kansas > New Mexico > AZ.

The plan is to do 3 or 4 hrs. a day. Any suggestions from you guys/gals who've recently driven from the Midwest to AZ are greatly appreciated.
