Some of you may remember Jim from posting on the old vandwellers yahoo group before cheaprvliving came along. I first knew of him there and then would see him post in other forums of interest to him (small cameras). He passed away in November 2021 at the age of 93. His obituary and stories are at http://www.jimforeman.com/

Thank you for letting us know about Grandpa Foreman. I had not been in touch with him since shortly after his move to Texas, but think of him often. We did not always see eye-to-eye on current events (LOL), but I owe him a great deal in terms of inspiration and practical advice! Now I wish I had communicated that to him directly more often.

If you want to know how to cut a watermelon, you should definitely check out his first, older video on that.

RIP, Jim. (Sniff...)

93! I'm sad he's not living the life he enjoyed anymore and glad he got to live it as long as he did. I always think a person who lives a long life lived a happy one overall.

I don't remember him in particular, but the vandwellers email group was my first introduction to the topic circa 1997. An interesting group.

RIP Mr. Foreman
