I finally got a smart phone and tried the Renogy app. I just don't have the phone on enough to make it useful. I would rather have a similar monitor right in the system. I guess the controller and bayite meter tell me all i need to know.

I prefer to use one of the 90 volt 30 amp combometer, it has bright LED lights I can read from 5 feet away. I been using them for the past 10 years. You just wire it between the controller and battery. It tells you the volt of the battery and how much amps are going in the battery, which are the only readings that I need. You can find on ebay for about 20 dollars. The controller has an LCD screen but the digits are too small to read from a distance.
