....High employment...producing the machinery of war is one way it helps the economy...
Trouble with that is you will help one side or the other by not voting. Many times you have to pick the lesser of two evils. We're going to end up with all kinds of problems one way or the other but letting the greater of the two evils win can't be seen as a good thing.Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat for dinner. So, please, if your unresolved childhood trauma issues compel YOU to vote for anyone that pushes any variant of authoritarianism, or any thing that raises taxes and thus destroys our liberties, then PLEASE DO NOT VOTE!
My 'position' was just stating what took place. Not that I agree that it was a good thing..
As I understand your position:
* increase employment to explode a bomb
* explode a bomb to increase employment.
Is this accurate?
You feel WW2 was an unjust war? It would be a totally different world right now if the US hadn't entered that war. The Civil War was unjust? LOL....I guess we sure won't go there, will we?I would argue that the only just war in US history was the Revolutionary War.
Not sure how that relates to the war/economy thing. Anyway, you're right, my vote is identical to anyone else's. But it's very different from those votes that aren't cast.Remember, your vote's value is identical to anybody else's vote.
