Quest continues. Thoughts on this conversion van???

I was waiting to see the final scene at the end where he crashes into something. Am I missing something? Unless his mechanic's shop was in the middle of that highway, how in bejeebies was he expecting to make any turns in order to get this vehicle to said shop.  :huh:
