I use something like the below for my solar panels.  

I intentionally DON'T use the optimum angle for this latitude (SW NM) ... for my own reasons.  
I've been asked by others to do this for them.  I won't do that.  But here's the plans I used 
as a model for mine.

Neat idea Pat. I bet something similar could be done for flex panels
 
If you do it so the panel is horizontal rather that vertical it would be less likely to tip or blow over. You'd also need less pipe. In fact, you'd just need one piece to prop it up with. Heck, you could use a stick you find somewhere — different lengths for different tilt angles. No need to get fancy.

Just make sure you don't scratch the back side coating on the panel! I've been told that can ruin the panel by creating hot spots.
