Rich people for years have paid thousands for their properties while I live for free basically in a beautiful National Recreation Area next to a lake owning little or nothing taking care of it for everyone. Made me happy, I hope they are happy too! When I was younger most of those same people paid my wages while I served in the military, when I got out I swore I would never feel bad about paying taxes to pay someone other than me to do what I did. As far as I'm concerned I'm getting off really cheap and really happy to be here to pay taxes! I just hope it is enough to keep the "wolves" at bay. I'm with you Lenny!

I just saw this news report about Pahrump, NV. It begins:
"A Pahrump resident is warning others who are looking to escape the high home prices in Las Vegas after she discovered several homes and properties in her neighborhood appear to be sinking."
