Hello, sorry for this question which I'm sure is so obvious to people who know what they're doing but I'm new to RV living so I'm just finding my feet.

I am moving into an RV next month and I have a carbon monoxide detector but I think I need a leak detector for my propane also. I am in Canada and Canadian Amazon has less available than US Amazon but ... can anybody link to a propane leak detector on Amazon Canada or a similarly easy-to-use site? If you have a blog or YouTube page and want me to click your affiliate link, I'll do that no problem just link to it.

Again, sorry for the obvious question!

Double check to make sure that the RV isn't already equipped with one. If is is a commercially made unit, it most likely will be!

This is the one I use. I got it at Camping World and it looks like it is still on sale. I'm not sure how it works shipping to Canada. I imagine they would ship it there no problem but can't say for certain. I can also say that the LP detector works because mine went off last week after I finished installing my heater. I didn't tighten down the hose connecting to my shut off valve properly and it detected the leak soon after I turned on the propane.

Even if your RV came with one they are only rated to last 5 years and then need to be replaced. You can get separate units but I like the combo unit that has both CO and LP together. I also like that it is hard wired into my battery bank so I know it is always working.

I will look for something similar on a Canadian site, thank you!
