These jobs are usually only available to couples as the gates have to be guarded 24/7. It's a pretty good and very easy job as you're just keeping a log of the vehicles as they enter and leave an oil or gas well site. We worked for this company.<br>&nbsp; http://gateguardservices.com/<br>It generally pays between $100 and $150 per day and they supply a generator with fuel, and septic system. It's a pretty popular job amongst RVers to stay in Texas and Lousianna in the winter.<br>&nbsp;It's also a pretty good business opportunity. The gate guard companies get $400 per day per location so I had cards printed up and did a little selling and offered to do it for $350 per day.<br>&nbsp;Then the wife and I split up. <br>&nbsp;As I was just getting back to the keys the district superintendent called to give me my "big break".&nbsp; Oh well... <img src="https://vanlivingforum.com/images/boards/smilies/bawl.gif" align="absmiddle" border="0"><br><br>
 
Interesting.&nbsp; I didn't realize they paid that much.&nbsp; That seems very worth it.<br>
