Just a word of caution and it has been said countless times before.  NEVER and I repeat NEVER click on a link like this in an email.  Go to your bank/credit card online like you always do.  Never click on the posted link.  Scammers can make the link and webpage look legit.

Yes they can. I get one from Bank of America that is a direct match of the legitimate. The return address gives it away.

I've gotten e-mails from banks (supposedly) about 'my account'.  But I never dealt with them.  No honest company will ask for your ID/password or other sensitive info - they already have it.  Lot of scams out there.

Exactly. Straight into the trash it goes, though I DID report it to Hotmail as a phishing scam. ..Willy.

When I get that money from all the relatives I never heard of who died, I will buy everyone new vans.  :D ;) :s

It has added up to several hundred million USD! I do not understand why they all write in caps.

I happily ignore most of the legitimate communications from my bank. They're about 5% actual business between me and the bank and about 95% them trying to sell me programs, loans and credit cards I don't need or want.

Not that I want to extend any favors to JP Morgue, you should also forward the email to the security contact at JPM.

I like to fill out fake information in those forms. Scam the scammers.

Gotta be careful if you click onto scam sites. A lotta exploits out there and it's easy to unknowingly install malware on your system. ..Willy.
