If you buy something with a return window, you should test it within that period to verify it works as intended.

At the very least hook it up to your fully charged good battery and see that it turns on and says the battery is good and fully charged. If it threw a coffee then, you'd have a charger you paid for that works, or a refund. It's something I hear a lot from online buyers. Test your items when you first get them to save yourself time and money.

Yes, Sir I know I "should" test it but I "could not" test it. You better believe huge $30 devastating loss is no biggie for me. Anyway cheap crap from amazon, even if it works within 30 day return window, most likely it will break down on day 31 anyway.

For some here, $30 can be significant. Some are getting by on a low monthly income. For some that's why they started van life in the first place.

There are plenty of good options that are inexpensive. Read the reviews, do your research. Buying a name brand isn't always going to mean higher quality or better product. Buying the cheapest things you can find doesn't mean your money was well spent either.

Invest the time into doing the research and you have a chance to save money on a good product.
