I went over in my puttputt to see skull rock and found a beautiful boondocking area. I wouldn’t take an RV in but there are places a van would fit. Way, way in the road can get a bit narrow in one place but there are plenty of areas before you get there.

It’s absolutely stunning in there with great hiking opportunities.

For craps sake. Looked at my pics for gps coordinates and I guess I was off grid so didn’t get it. I looked at satellite view to find where I went in and can’t find that either.

You go south of Quartzsite on 95 until you see a sign for Palm Canyon. Turn left and follow it all the way back until you get to some big signage on the right.

If you look to the left you can see a dirt road going to the left. I believe the sign says Queen’s Canyon or something like that. Turn there and follow that road out for 5-8 miles.

Boy I have messed that up. Maybe nobody go there is better or call me and I’ll just take you there.

You can get pretty far back there in a van. There is only one squeeze part. The road is rough here and there but you don’t need 4wd. I had a friend that went in his Tacoma and never had to use 4wd and I stayed in one wheel drive.

I managed to get a coordinate on one of my other pics

I’m in Quartzsite now. If anyone wants to ride out I can run you over in my puttputt. You’ll need a mask and something over your head or plan on a shower when you return.
