newbies in Belen NM

We have a dodge caravan and want to make it part time livable at this time.  We are wanting to travel in the winter and stay home and work in the heat.   we also are intrigued by cargo trailers.  We have lived without electric and water in a stick home in the past, so we aint scared.  But we really want to find the tribe and get connected. We are artists and have been farmers.  Our farm in north Carolina was Duck Dance.  We came here 2 years ago to care for Pat's mom and she died about this time last year.  So we are now thinking about what's next.

As we are in Belen NM and have lots of parking we would like to let folks know we would offer free overnight parking.  We have room for one at a time.  We couldn't offer much in the way of service but would love to share a meal with travelers.  We are hoping to go part time after October.  My husband is a semi serious fisherman and I would like to write while he fishes.

I used to live in Los Lunas but moved to Kentucky.

Do you know where you will be heading first in October? We are on our way back to Kentucky now but hope to be able to take off again by October.
