Newbie not the sharpest tool

Having read through all instructions i cannot find the area i would like to post under.
I am trying to find a ride to and/or from the
RTR this winter.....i lnow we dont have a date or location yet.
This will be my first, i am a middle aged working on purchasing and converting a van in 2020. Would like to share expenses, can also drive if needed. I am in the greater. Seattle/ Tacoma area.

Welcome to the CRVL forums Laura! Since the RTR dates and location have not been confirmed yet try posting again when all of that has been decided. There will probably be a discussion thread or you can start one with your request. You can put it in "Gatherings" or "Topics that don't fit in other areas".

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Sometimes you can find rides through CraigsList. Look under community, then ride share. Some people travel with just a back pack and they have enough. Small tent and sleeping bag are a plus. There are plenty of towns to grab something to eat and lots of BLM land.
If you pass through Pahrump I can get you a nice bed and bath.
