Newbie heading west

Hi everyone,

I wIll become a fulltimer after finishing my last day of work on Thursday.  Ive been following this site for about a year now and  have learned so much from everyone.   Ive checked out many sites but this group seems to enjoy the simple lifestyle that i've been wishing for.  I have a pop up truck camper that i've spent ten months traveling in last year  out west and to Alaska.  My plan is to head west to Arizona in a couple of weeks and  also attend the RTR in January.  After the RTR i plan to continue traveling and just enjoy the freedom.  Thank you Bob and everyone for motivating me to escape the Rat race.

Oh so looking forward to my last day of work also. Mine is Dec. 20th, I wanted to time it so I could travel at a leisurely pace cross-country to Bob's RTR.

Welcome....I too bought a used truck and truck camper last year......spent last 10 months fixing and improving things and now just about ready to go.....Going to try my hand workcamping in NC or VA next spring / summer....take care...
