Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the group. I am in the planning stages of my van-build project. Someday, I intend to spend several months of the year in primarily the following three locations; New Mexico, Arizona, and San Diego while full time in Chevy Express Cargo 3500 Extended Wheelbase. I would really love to network with folks that I can get advice and learn from.

Welcome to the CRVL forums Shawn! The CRVL caravans are a good way to meet people. Sign up on Meetup - https://www.meetup.com/Caravans/events/
Future caravan gatherings will be posted as the locations and dates are determined.

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the CRVL forum Shawn.   :)   Do you already have your Chevy Express ?

If not, why don't you check out the first website in my two signature lines below.  There is a new page titled "Bug-Out Car" showing converting an older car so you can sleep in it for overnight day trips or long week end excursions.  It is a very low bucks way to get out there.  Who knows  you may run onto some deals on the kind of Van you would like to have while you travel.   The website below it will help and assist you while on the road.  The trip planning links have some websites that have  trip planners where you can literally take a virtual trip like you are behind the wheel.  Thus you can preview places of interest before going there if you like.

All the best !
